Features
Unique Features of the Ultimate Bitless Bridle (UBB)
Single Rein Stability. The UBB was developed with stability as a primary goal. It will never twist or shift position when a single rein is pulled, a feature which no other bitless bridle can replicate.
Freedom. No cinched components. The UBB’s design eliminates the common chin strap and throat latch with it’s patented double cross under strap system. This means that the horse can fully open its mouth to release and lick and chew or graze, which no other bridle will allow the horse to do.
Communication. When a single rein is pulled, pressure is transferred from the first ring on the first noseband to the second ring on the second noseband. This distributes pressure on opposing sides of the face creating pressure points which mimic the bit. Much less pressure is transferred up to the poll as opposed to similar bitless bridles. The UBB’s poll pressure is on the same side as the rein pressure unlike other cross under strap type bitless bridles.
Versatility. The UBB is multifunctional. It can function as a halter by clipping into both reinstrap rings or be used to drive and lunge without any adjustments needed, another feature unique to this bridle.
4 C's - Control, Comfort, Communication & Connection
1) Control
The Ultimate Bitless Bridle provides total control of the horse's head through the points created when a single rein is pulled, which mimic the pressure points created by the bit, thus making it easy for most horses to transition into.
*Note: This is the only bitless bridle which will stay in place when a single rein is pulled without any permanently 'cinched' components.*
Pulling on a single reinstrap applies pressure to the first ring on the horses's nose (1), then to the second ring on the opposite side of the nose (2), then to the poll (3), causing it to turn in the direction pulled. Pulling on both reinstraps cinches the noseband in place, causing the horse to slow down or stop. This unique and Patented design focuses most of the pressure on the nose area, with significantly less pressure transferred to the poll than other comparable bitless bridles.
2) Comfort
The distinguishing features of the Ultimate Bitless Bridle are the double noseband and double cross under strap system. This dynamic feature provides total freedom for the horse's head without sacrificing rider safety, since no component is permanently fastened down (like traditional throat latches and chin straps). This is the only bridle of it's kind which gives release, the moment the horse releases, and only cinches down when the rider is communicating through the reins.
3) Communication
How does a bridle communicate with a horse? By transmitting the rider's intention from the reins to the horse's head. The difference between the Ultimate Bitless Bridle and other bridles is how the bridle acts on the head to create the desired communication. The bridle creates a series of pressure points as shown in the picture ('pulling on a single rein'). Unlike other similar bitless bridles, the pressure is focused on the two nosebands (which mimic bit pressure) with less pressure being exerted on the poll area. Since there is no permanently 'cinched' component, the horse has a chance to fully release, because when the rider releases tension in the reins, the two cinch points under the nose release, providing a feeling of freedom unequaled in any other bridle.
4) Connection
Connection is achieved when the horse willingly pushes its head into the bridle. Simply put, it is the desire of the horse to 'connect' or listen to the rider. It is a mutual seeking of greater harmony between horse and rider.
The Ultimate Bitless Bridle offers a new level of freedom and comfort and thus a totally clear understanding of the rider's intention.
